Song Stuck in my head, bothering me at night, cant sleep?

I've never tried it but one method I've heard of to solve this problem is to close your eyes and imagine, in as much detail as you can, a CD player. Inside the CD player is, of course, a CD. The CD contains the song you can't get out of your head. With your eyes still closed you concentrate as hard as you can on making the CD player real in your mind. You should be able to see every detail of it.
Once you've done that you press the "STOP" or "PAUSE" button on the CD player and concentrate on not hearing the song any longer. Basically you're attempting to trick your mind into doing what you want by visualizing it. Visualization techniques are known to be rather powerful in other areas so I don't see why this wouldn't work. It may not be an immediate solution and it may take a few attempts but it should work eventually. If nothing else the concentration on the CD player to make it appear "real" might help take your mind off the song which could also help get it out of your head.
Good luck!
Try laying down for bed really early like 5 or 6 then you should wake up earlier and not still be restless. Start doing this BEFORE school stars back and your mind should stay on this schedual unless you change it.If u have 2, wear headphones volume on low, and see if you can get 2 sleep.
Get some B complex in the vitamin section at the grocery store and take one 30 minutes or so before you go to bed. It will help relax you and will otherwise be healthy for you.
My wife always says that in order to get rid of a song that is stuck in your head, you need to give it to someone else. Just hum the song for one of your friends and let them take over... LOL...
THis is extremely annoying, but is an indication of a general nervousness, rather than the pervasiveness of the song in question. The fact that it is disturbing your sleep will make you even more nervous, and will make it worse again. What you really need to do is relax. Try to do something active which involves mundane routine, like gardening, or try yoga or meditation. This will help calm yolur mind. Any activity which will tire you out, such as excercise, will also help, as it dispels the nervous energy you have been building up.
To start with, however, you should probably try to listen to some cheesy music to get your particular song out of your head. Sometimes if you change it for another it can help to stop it.
