Vasectomy question...?

Question:
My boyfriend had vasectomy (his x-wife asked him 2 do it on 1994) and we'll get married soon. Both of us wanted to have 2 more kids, is it possible for us to have kids once he got his vasectomy reverse? The doctor only tied up his sperm tube and not cut it. And doctor also said it's only need a smal surgery to reverse it back & the chance is abt 85%, is that true? He said he'll get it done this November with the same doctor.

Thanks for the answers

Answers:
yes it is true a vasectomy is alot easier to reverse than a tubal so you guys should be blessed with more kids good luck and be thankful its him that has to have the reversal and stock up on ice for his crotch after the surgery-
sounds like your doctor answered your question.
To my knowledge yes you still will be able to have children after it's reversed. I know some people who have had kids successfully afterward.
Yes it is possible and your doctor is the most well-informed of such things.
It is certainly true it may take a week or two for him to start secreting good sperm. If you want children go for it. Be patient good luck
If the doctor has less than good ethics he may be willing to undo the vasectomy. After all you are paying, and that is what the doctor wants – money. You are aware that insurance will not pay for this. The cost will be about $5000. If it fails, he will do anything to keep your hopes up to keep you paying.

I really think he should keep the vasectomy. Getting one undone is very bad Karma.
Vasectomy reversal surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Indian Med Guru in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Indian Med Guru is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Indian Med Guru. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
