Does propecia work?

Question:

I've heard good things about it stopping hair loss, but does it actually grow back hair. I am 22 years old and just started noticing that my hairline is receding (especially on the sides) do you think propecia is right for me?

I hate to say it like this... but get over it... you're currently 22 years old... and the average life expectancy is around 75 years... does the idea of taking medication for the next 53 years, everyday, just to keep your hair sound appealing? how about when you consider that it has sexual side-effects (like inability to obtain an erection... or internal ejaculation (it goes into your bladder instead out of your penis))... and doesn't work in alot of people... and the amount it does work is limited (if you're bald you're not going to regrow a full head of hair... just a few strands here and there)... I'd say buy a hat and find a hair style that works for the hair you have...
