it's a blessing
that seems kind of late into puberty for no hair under your arms. But who knows. Maybe you are just saving up that hair to sprout someday and grow like mad.

Everyone is different, its OK to not grow hair, be happy for lack of hair there, it will probably come in later in your 20"s

Hey, I'm 32 and I don't have any either - I think it's a question of genetics...no one in my family is hairy at all...why do you want it? it just makes you stink more.
You will find that your body hair continues to sprout and blossom until your mid to late 20's. I t may not be the "norm" at 17 to be have bare pits, but it's not THAT unusual. Relax about it. If it's supposed to grow it will.

I didn't get underarm hair until I was almost 19! I was always the tallest in my class (I am 6'7")... its no big deal, it will come when it comes. My feet were the first things to start/stop growing... my armpit hair was the last.

i think if u don't have hair anywhere else then you should see a doctor but if you do maybe you shouldn't worry. i guess is like some people have hair in their legs and then there are other people who have no hair!!!

hair growth is controlled by testosterone and is that controlled by your genes. It could also be hereditary, which is also in your genes.
Don't worry! My older brother was like that and didn't start growing more facial and chest hair until way after college.
i'm 13 going on 14 and i have armpit hair but it can be bad if you have little brothers
