Weight gain plateau in bodybuilding?

Question:
I have been consistently gaining about 1 lb/week for the last 5 months while bodybuilding by following a strict diet (about 250-400 calories every 1-2 waking hours). In the last 4 days, I haven't been able to take in very many calories. It's even hard for me to take in smoothies, which I normally take in 4-5 a day. I can't finish as much food, and my guess is that I am taking in only about 2000-2500 calories a day now, instead of 3000-3500 calories daily before. I used to get hungry every hour to hour and a half or so, but now I get hungry only about once every 3 hours-- and I need very little food to keep me satisfied.

My weight is about 155-156 in the morning and at night, whereas last week it would flucuate between about 156 in the morning to 159-160 at night.

Is this due to a hormone imbalance or what? I feel fine. I'm not sure if it's important to note that I am now at my highest ever bodybuilding weight (although I weighed 15 lbs heavier in high school).

Answers:
The simple answer to any plateau is variance in your routine. Most workout plans offer a 12 week program. Reason being that after 12 weeks of doing the same routine your body adjusts to it and you hit that plateau. In order to grow you have to change it up and keep your body guessing. So if you have been lifting the same way for the last 5 months its definitely time to change things up a bit. New exercises to hit the muscles from different angles. Worked for me!
