No worries! I was done at 18 in the Drs office under just a local. Took maybe 20min . I was done on a Friday and back in class Monday! Full healing was 30days. Totally worth it! No lose at all and would do it again tomorrow! Cleaner, Healthier and looks better! You know you will have a much lower risk of acquiring STDs and HIV now!
BTW- They will have you ice it to keep the swelling down and Motrin will do the rest!
Good luck! It's going to be very sore but they will give you something for pain. Surgery should not be very long at all.
Just keep the area clean. It will heal quickly and there should be no need to take any extreme precautions. Do what your doctor recommends.

snip snip and u r done. It does not take very long they are just removing a small amount of skin. Now after word u will have a bandage over it and I'm sure will hve to go. ur biggest trouble will be not having an erection b/c any stitches could then be ripped out. I now our son who is now 18 had it done many yrs ago. there is a blood vessel on the under side that warrants keeping an eye on. The Doc should go over this sort of stuff with u. or u cn ask them other things.No playing with it.

From what I hear, there's a few things you might want to be aware of, though I'm sure the doctor will go over them with you.
The surgery can take between 15 minutes and like an hour, depending on if local anesthesia is used or general (if you're really squeamish) and the circumcision method the doctor uses. Recovery will be painful, but that's what painkillers are for.
After the surgery, your glans (penis head) will probably feel oversensitive because it's not used to being constantly exposed. It could take a month or more for you to get used to the sensitivity or for the glans to desensitize. Also, erections can be painful if they pull on the stitches.
Lastly, you shouldn't masturbate or anything until the stitches either come out or dissolve, and the wound has fully healed. This typically takes like 2-4 weeks. If you try masturbating, it could rip the stitches or the wound open, and that'd be bloody, painful, and messy.
In your case it must be fairly severe if it has to be done for medical reasons, and pretty much everything else you've tried before must've failed. If it comes to this, then good luck.

wear really soft underwear for life since your glands will be exposed and rough materials will de-sensitize your glands. Sorry to here you are loosing it-did they offer a Dorsal Cut? It releases the skin but you do not loose the 4skin. Used a lot in Europe! Good luck and stay "soft"!!!
