Coughing up yellow phlegm balls?
Question:
Answers:
You should consult a doctor, but what you are coughing up is often referred to as "Lung Butter" because they do just that, come from the lung. You are probably fine, just recovering from the virus. Just keep taking antibiotics, like your doctor perscribed, and keep drinking lots of fluids. However, you may have URI, upper respiratiry infection, so be careful.
The last bit of advice I can give you would to be visit www.webmd.com to help you diagnose what you have.

Go to the doc! It sounds like you have an upper respritory infection and those can turn ugly real quick if you don't get them taken care of. You'll probably be put on caugh meds, anti biotics and maybe an inhailer.be carefull and see a doc soon!
I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well! Obviously, I am not a doctor, but in my experiences, mucus that is not clear, but yellow or green indicate an infection. Infections are serious and if untreated can possibly lead to death. I hope that you will see your doctor soon!
Get well :)
