Personal Groin question...?
Question:
Answers:
Is this your first time shaving it? This is normal because that part of your body is not used to being hairless. I've read before that it is not recommended to fully shave pubic hair, you should leave just a little. But getting rid of it..Just leave it alone for a few days and it should go away. If you don't want to wait you can use something like Oxy Body Wash.
I tried olive oil or neosporin
you need to put a cold cream on after you shave. keep it moisturized for a while.
EWWWWW u seriously friggin shaved it?!
oh man thats nasty
i think u should ask a doctor
maybee he'll give u an ointment
I suggest aloe, but it sounds like you got razor burn. why are you shaving your self there??
You've got "shaver's rash." Apply an over-the-counter cortisone ointment and it should go away within a couple of days. If not, see a doctor for more potent meds.
This is your average, run of the mill razor burn. Shaving your genitals is a little different because the groin is "dirtier" and this can lead to infection. (So please be careful.)
There are preparations specifically made for genital shaving to reduce irritation.
Use a product like Nair...no bumps! :)
hmmm this might just be because of the soap or razor your using.
i experienced this with my legs when i do my legs sometimes a certain soap brings out red blotchy cut like things on my legs. and also when i've shaved my vagina with the same soap i've got them too.
it aint uncommon sweetie =) x
dude. u got razor burn... put moistuizer lotion on it.. and get ready to itch like no tomorrow when it grows back in... try waxing next time, let me know how that works for ya ..
Dude, any groin question is personal.
You have to let the hair grow back. I'm guessing you're young enough that the skin is not finished growing and the follicles are still closer together then they will be when you finish puberty, or finish growing your hair. You are only creating more problems by forcing hair to become ingrown and possibly infected.
Leave your pubic hair alone for a couple years. Trimming it might be fine, but take it easy, tiger, before you just hurt yourself.
its called an ingrown hair.. no big deal.. your junk wont fall off or anything. don't get goose bumps, it pushes the hair up and creates these red bumps as you stated..
They sell a cream for it at like Walgreen's or any chain drug store generally. its called bikini line cream(obviously designed for women but still it works) their called irritation bumps some of which can be ingrown hairs... you can ask the pharmacist at the drug store for a cream to help reduce irritation bumps and ingrown hairs...they will know what your referring to having just shaved but who cares...
Antibiotic ointment (Neosporin) worked for me. I've found that an electric razor works A LOT better (Not the kind with 3 round heads but the kind with one straight one). I don't get the red bumps anymore.
Well for starters, you didn't do it correctly if you have bumps, aka razor burn. You didn't use enough lubrication...such as shaving cream. Can't just use soap and water down there. Monistat has some good products to help you out now. You can find it in the tampon/condom aisle.
NEXT time, use more lubrication. Never single blade in that area either. Best if you use a thick hair conditioner. Or better yet, do it like chicks do...wax! Might hurt the first time, but you'll get used to it, it lasts longer, and never a bump in sight.
BTW, it takes about 3-7 days for the bumps to go away completely. Now get ready for the itching.
If you won't wax...then remember.lubrication and multiple blade razors (preferably triple blade) will do the trick.
it is normal
but it is going to happen the first time u shave down there
but u just have to keep shaving and eventually it will stop
it will also hurt when u shave again...
or what i would do is stop using a razor and just trim,it will work better...
good luck
within a couple of days they will go away on their own dont worry about it, it is normal
Uh why did you shave them anyway??? Thats just freakin weird! Anyways just talk to your doctor or something. Or get some ointment.
Thats ingrown hair. Always happens. Best solution is not to shave at all. Frankly, only virgins, porn stars and men without long term partners shave their sak. You have to shave it every day unless you want those fine little prickle hairs to chafe your partner's inner thighs.. she will be sick of that gig in no time. You might think you look like a million dollars.. but the practicality is this... you will grow pubic hair.. so keep it trimmed.
George Kluney is the hawtest bloke around and he doesn't shave his chest.. and david beckham is a girly man.
there's a product called bikini zone...when you're at the store, just say it's for your girlfriend.:-o
this is normal mainly if you don't shave that much or that often the more you do it and the better the razor the less it will get like that, but try putting baby oil on it as well as lotions to keep it from getting dry and irritated
Something to help prevent the red bumps from happening is to make sure to use plenty of shaving cream or lotion while shaving. Don't ever dry shave. Ouch. You have hair on your shaft but left it long. OMG lol
