Phymosis? Circumcision.?
Question:
... but, I had something called, Phymosis. It made my foreskin shrink and in the end i couldn't get an erection and it was getting difficult to pass water.
I had an operation and was circumcised. Everything working fine now.
But apparently it is caused by a disease..
... so, have I still got this disease or what? can I pass it on?
I was never given anti-biotics or anything.
Answers:
Phimosis can be caused by infection but it can also be caused by too many skin cells growing round the foreskin, inflamation and other unknown causes. Normally circumcision is the best way to treat this condition because otherwise problems with swelling, more inflamation, infection and possible haemorrhage can occur. In 95% of cases the problem is caused by the growth of too many skin cells round the foreskin. As you weren't given antibiotics this wasn't infectious and you cannot pass it on to anyone else!
Hope this helps!
My Doctor Circumcised me with a Hack-Saw...
Difficult to say if you don't tell what are the sign of the disease, Mr. And as well, if you don't recognize the disease, you better go checking it to your GP. As far as i concern, there wouldn't be any disease following up after circumcision. Because you didn't mention as well how long the difference time during circumcision and the first sign of your disease.
so, yeah, you better go ask and check with your GP.
hopefully it is not an infection from the circumcision scars. Good luck.
It was a condition not a disease
