If you have no feeling from the waist down can a man get an erection?

Question:
my soon 2 b lover is 1 and im not quite sure. Please help!

Answers:
I already asked this question and this was my best answer:

Yes you can.

Men have two types of erections - psychogenic and reflex.

Psychogenic erections are the result of sexual thoughts or sights and can be achieved by paralysed men but it depends on the extent of the paralysis.

Relex erections are the more involuntary variety and can be caused by direct stimulation of the penis or other ares of the body that respond to intimate contact (vibrators are good for this). Unless a specific set of nerves in the spine called the S2, S3 and S4 nerves are damaged, then a relex erection is possible and common.

In addition, there are pills and injections available for treating erectile dysfunction in men that are able to obtain an erection but perhaps not hard enough or for long enough to achieve intercourse. Doctors can and do help a lot with this. Viagra is great for paraplegic men.

In addition, penile prosthetics can help (surgical insertion of a semi rigid or inflatable rod).

Paraplegic men can still father children. If they are able to achieve an erection and orgasm through intercourse then natural conception is possible. If they are not able to achieve orgasm through intercourse then using a vibrator to achieve orgasm and ejaculation means that artificial insemination is possible. And if a vibratory method is not successful then sperm can be retrieved surgically and treatment such as IVF (with ICSI usually) is useful.

Don't forget that paralysed men can still carrry/catch STD's! Use a condom
Direct stimulation may result in engorgement but how firm/hard it will be is doubtful.
You are a very nice person, all the best!
well if he is a quadriplegic he may get an involuntary erection, he will not have any sensation from it but you will, It all depends on which nerve endings are damaged. he may have total function of bladder, bowels, sex organs etc. and can just have the damage in his legs. if he is your boyfriend ask him, if you are going to get married then you need to know all of this and there have been many to go on and father children, so yes it all depends on the extent of the damage.
maybe, it depends on the nerve distribution that are involved
