MEN 30-40: How is YOUR sex drive?

Hi,
If your husband has all of these health issues, diabetes, high blood pressure and stress, then most likely these are the cause of his erection problems. Also, if he is on medications for these, then sometimes it can be a side effect. He needs to discuss this intimate problem with his physician- I know this is a very sensitive area for men and discussing it with anyone may be tough for him. There are medications that can help him. But you are on the right track with your thinking as far as his weight and healthier lifestyle. He has several risk factors that could set him up for a stroke or heart attack further down the road. Sounds like he may already be having circulation problems due to the inability to maintain an erection. This could indicate circulation problems elsewhere in the body, such as heart or brain.
Its probably because of his diabetes, he has reduced circulation because of it. If he takes blood pressure medicine it also causes sexual problems and the stress doesn't help anything either.
high blood pressure and diabetes can interfere with the ability to have erections in men. I strongly encourage him to go see a doctor. It takes alot of courage to talk about it but once he's done it, he'll feel pretty good about it. It can be treated.
Been there...done that...get him to a DR. and get things under control or that will be the least of his problems. If you love him sometime a little nudge is needed to keep him healthy...that's what my wife did and it probably saved my life.Good Luck
All of the things you mentioned have a potential impact on his woohooo!
With the extra weight he has become a lazy screw. he lacks the cardio capacity to really dig in like he used to and the extra weight is more difficult to hold aloft. All these circumstances will squash your man's capacity no matter what his brain is saying he would like to do. As well, he is getting older so his testosterone levels will be reducing. Lack of exercise doesnt help in that department either. Your man needs to work out in the gym. The extra oxegen will also help relieve stress. I have been gradually putting on weight ever so slightly for the last 10 years... before I decided that I had to make a decision... glad I did. I'm back to my wicked old ways and prolly worse truth be known... so you get to choose whether to share this information with him or keep him ignorant... lol . but he already knows.. just isn't ready to accept it.. your metabolism slows as you age.. so all that food he used to eat is now less necessary... hence the continued increase in body fat of men in their 30's.
sounds like a handful. there are a number of issues here, plus psychological stress. all play a part in the problems you're expressing.
