I want to gain 30 Pounds of muscle , please read and answer?
Question:
I'm way skinny and tall, 6 foot 1, 140 pounds and Im 18 years old.
I want to commit to going 3 times a week and I would like much more defined pecs, abs, bigger arms, and a bigger neck. Im pretty sure i have the diet thing down(consume more calories than you burn get all your food groups blah blah) What workouts would you suggest to see the best results.

Holy shite, that is skinny. For the first month, do this:
1. Forget about cardio.
2. Lift heavy (3-5 reps) for the first couple of weeks, then medium heavy (8-10 reps) for the rest of the month.
3. Eat as much as you can. Anything but fast food and sweets.
4. Focus on compound exercises like chest press, squats, and deadlifts.
SECOND MONTH:
1. Very little cardio if any.
2. Vary weekly from heavy to medium heavy.
3. Minimize fat consumption. Increase protein consumption. No junk food...ever.
4. Add isolation exercises to your compound exercises. Shoulder laterals, bicep curls, leg curls, tricep pushdowns, abs, etc.

Workouts that work your whole body, basically all you need to do is, benchpress, hangcleans, squats, leg presses, Squats will help build overall body strenght and bulk you up.
Remember dont over do them and dotn start with a weight you cant handle.
To bulk up to higher weight and low reps, to tone up do low weight high reps, once you get the high weight goin do more reps, a good weight for you woudl be around 170-180. on the days that u arent in the weigh troom just run a mile to help ur heart rate
if u dont kno what some of those are just youtube em, basically benchpress and squat will do though.
dotn gain too much to fast its bad gain like 5 lbs a month so around 6 months u can get 30 lbs

u dont need the benchpress all u need is the pushup, its the best workout for the pecs like the pullups the best for ur lats . u should only use the bench press if u can do 25 pushups raised and 20 lb weight on ur back if not stick to the floor hope u reach ur goal
