Genetics. Biology.
I reached my height in 7th grade. That was 15 yrs ago. Were your parents tall? Is your height normal for your family? Sorry to say but that's about it for you. Some people grow early, others hit their spurts a little later. You were just early.
Because you touch yourself at night
You've reached the age when you stop growing.
It's as simple as that.
Did you start lifting weight? Weight lifting will stop growth. Plus, you'll keep growing till about 25. so plenty of time left.
Maybe you've stopped growing! Don't complain, 5'10's an alright height. I'm 6'3 and i'm huge for my age!! Not always great being tall!
You had your growth spert early. Don't worry Im 5'8 and a sophmore.
because most americans are.
5'10 is good height..i have been stuck on 5'9 since 3 years..i always wished I was 5'10.be happy!!
Sounds like your growth spurt already happened. Alot of chicks like 5'10", so what's the big deal?
You've just stopped growing. Sorry, but it isn't likely that you'll grow anymore.
after some age height doesn't grow too much, if it grows then very slowly.
do you want to be 5ft1 like myself? I think you are a very lucky boy.
because you touch yourself at night? what kinda of answer is that? thats gross, well anyway, 5'10is a pretty good height for a guy your age
too much masturbation causes you to shrink its true
You're probably done growing in height. I'd be surprised if you got any taller at your age. Now it's time to finish broadening. By the way, that's not short. Nothing to worry about.
Maybe that's all the taller you're going to get. Don't worry about it...there's nothing wrong with being 5'10.
You may have plateaued, but a growth spurt may be lurking out there
Some people stop growing as soon as the 8th grade so it my be a genetic thing.
You stopped growing that's a good height love it!
Everybody is different. This most likely has to do with your genetics. Depending on how tall your parents are, that helps estimate how tall you might be. Also, genes sometimes skip generations. If everyone is really short and there was one tall grandfather and you got that gene, you would be tall too. It's been about 3 years for you, so chances are if you even do grow any more, it wont be much. I hate to say this, but you probabaly stopped growing. Ask your doctor about this. They have records and stuff to look through to see what might make you as tall as you are now and if you will grow any more.
well, you should get more exercise. Run, jumprope, but never lift weights, if u do then it will be very hard for you to get any taller. also, after you run find a monkey bar and hang for about 2-5 mins. or try to do some pull ups, dont forget you must hang. drink lot of milk b4 sleep, and eat high protein b4 sleep. and after dinner wait 20mins and go for a good work out. for for about 1000 jump ropes, its really easy. after jump ropes do some dips, push ups, sit ups. and strech. no weight. start lifting weight maybe when your like 21, thats about the time your body structure sets into place. then a hot shower and go right to sleep.
Genetics.
Some men will continue to grow until their early 20's, and some men stop in high school. It may be that your genetics are working against you. A rough way to estimate your final adult height is to take the average of your parents' height's and add 2.5 inches. If you are truly 5'10", then you are right at the average height for your age. It is possible that you won't grow anymore, but you're not considered short in comparison to the general population.
When I was in 9th grade I was 5'5". All my friends were about your height. Across the summer break from 9th to 10th I shot up to 5'11. As a senior I was 6'1" and at 21 6'3". I am bigger than most of my old friends.
Your a early bloomer. Your done growing; Vertically at least.
i have no clue but i have the same question I HATE BEING SHORT
I've been 5'11 since I was 15 (I'm 22 now) and I have tall parents (6'3 and 5'10). Some of us just stop before we reach our full potential, I guess.
My dad was 6'0" when he was in 8th grade and he did not grow after that. everyone is different, but it sounds like you already had your growthspurt
you're done with puberty and you stopped growing.
