you've nothing to worry about. i was a size 34 waist for years, then as i started to work out and gain mass, etc. i went to a size 36. after 12 years of marriage, my wife just bought me my first size 46 pants.
I can't believe it! It's so gross and disgusting. I can't hardly bend over.

We just went to a spa for a week and i worked out daily, had lots of sex, swam, ate nothing but fruit and salads, sat in the hot box and steam room and really lived pretty healthy and i only lost 6.5 pounds.
i figured i would have sweat out that much.
it's so hard to loose weight once you've gained it.

Go on treadmill and fast pace/run as much as possible everyday for atleast 30 minutes for one month. Don't over eat or eat sweets and you will lose the weight. After the first month you should be able to do a 10 minute jog nonstop. Just do that outside everyday to keep it off. Or longer if you wish. All you have to do is make yourself do it.
Try on the clothes at the store before you buy them. A 38 waist is not that fat, but each company has their own idea of what a 38 size entails. Some companies you may wear a 40 or 36 instead. Are you hitting cardio? Cut out all the junk food and cut the calories some too. You didn't give any details on your workout so I don't know what you're doing. But try working out harder and eating less. That's what people do.
