It can cause problems if you're going to join the military or a sports team. If it's not treated it can make you get very sick. It's very easy to cure with a simple operation.

I hav enever had a doctor grab my junk; that is the job of the garbage man. Doctors however are known to hold a guy's testicles and get him to cough; that is to check for inguinal hernia. Some doctors are even more thorough and they will feel each testicle and the cords carefully to check for signs of cancer or other problems.
Any doctor who is supposed to do a complete physical who does not do these checks is not doing his job properly.
