Do I have anymore growing left to do?
Question:
My dad said he stopped growing at 19, will it be the same for me too? if so then by how much?
Are there seriously any discernible ways to tell whether or not you will grow, or by how much. The online calculators are real iffy, they even predicted me to be shorter than I am now...
Please, mature and serious answers. If you need any further details I can supply them.
Thanks

Growth comes in spurts. I grew 1-1/4 inches at age 19. You can't predict when the growth will come, so it's important to have good health and nutrition, with lots of protein, throughout your teen years.
That said, it's impossible to say whether you in particular have stopped growing. You've already exceeded your dad by 2 inches, which is pretty typical for a well-nourished kid in a modern industrialized nation. In America, 5'9" is the average height for males, although it may not feel that way if your group of friends all happen to be taller.
Eat well, get exercise, and learn to be happy with your particular attributes. No good ever comes from brooding about things you can't change.
Men can grow up to about age 22, but not all men do.
you can still grow normally till 20-21 years of age, your growth is stopped when the bone diaphysis are complete. you can abnormally grow if it will be after 24-25 years of age.
actually thats tall for being 17 so you are probably done growing but a good way to find out is to go to your doctor and ask. My cuzin is 14 done growing and is only 4' 10" but she is a girl but ya just ask your doctor
