Growth spurts?

Question:
I'm 6'0" at age 19 but I don't think I ever had a "growth spurt." What do you think?

leaving 7th grade -- I was maybe 5'1"
leaving 8th grade -- I was 5'4-5"
leaving 9th grade -- I was 5'7", maybe 7'8"
leaving 10th grade -- I was 5'9", maybe 10"
leaving 11th grade -- I was 5'11"ish

And since I've grown close to an inch

What exactly qualifies as a spurt?

Answers:
Without deepening about the values you put, the "spurt growth" you mentioned isn't a fix event holding true for every boy. For many of them the growth starts and goes on slowly and regularly with no evident "spurt". Where with that word people means a fast development got in a short time. At last, you have to notice the final reached value only and 6 feet is a good height in the average.
I would say the time that you were in the 7th grade, to the 8th grade. That's the most that you have grown, from what you have said.
i dont get it u were 7'8 leaving 9th grade??
growth tends to happen sometimes without us noticing. It is a little slower and more even. But when you grow enough in a short period of time for people to notice and comment on how much you grew then you probably had a sprut.
How do you get from 5'7" to 7'8" after leaving 9th grade and shrink to 5'9"?
a growth spurt is anywhere from 3- 4 inches in a year so from 7th grade to 8th grade you had a growth spurt
