there is no length which is best. if you feel you don't want the hair that you have, then it's time to shave. just tell your dad that you need him to buy you a razor...and tell him a good one, like the fusion (that thing is awesome) and he will understand and will help you out if you need it...trust me.

there is no age bar for the first shave.your facial hair grows acc to your harmonal actions. if its not bothering you much then wait till your dad will bring you home your first shaving set. he knows when to do it .let him do the honours.

The earlier you start shaving (when you get something to shave) the heavier your beard will come in.

Shaving becomes a pain in the butt after you have done it for 20yrs, nevertheless...Tell your dad about your need to do it, Dads can be pretty cool and more understanding then you think! If he agrees with you, go for it! If he thinks you should wait a while, that it cool too, cause chicks love older looking guys. Grow a mustache and some sideburns!
