Hair as like as other body feature gets genetic factor and there is no food exercise or drug able to change it. Maybe you're too young and probably your beard will be bushier later. Some teens shave regularly because the razor utilization helps hair to grow sooner and stronger!

the more you shave the thicker the hair grows back. amybe shave for a few months and see if it starts to thicken up
Sorry, this is no fix to your problem. Hair growth is a genetics issue, and you should look to your dad or other male members of your family for a answer. I have a friend who is part American Indian and still can not grow a mustache or a beard, he has very fine hair on his face, and is 40 yo.
You could start shaving but I wouldn't advise it.
Once you get it coming in you have to keep at it.

What do you want an Elvis look, even he didn't have side burns at first and he looked better without them too.
Dont be so keen on facial hair. Its not all its made out to be. When it does start growing, you'll wish that you didn't have so much, or none at all.
Hust shave three times a day for a month or so and you´ll have to shave every day!
start eating more mountain oysters that will help
Shave daily.
