I totally know what you're talking about since I'm the same height. Girls like tall guys, I think its a "sense of security" thing. Its not your imagination, I've dealt with it first hand numerous times. I heard several girls say they had to be with guys who were at least 6'0. Women say that guys are superficial, but are they any different? I think not.
Maybe focus more on making alot of money because that's another thing that women like.
Sounds like you're had several girl friends so what are you worried about? Of course there are people who like this, that or the other! If you were tall there would be other girls who wouldn't want to go out with you, plus if they are that shallow who would want to go out with them anyway?
Look at Tom Cruise - he is short and does pretty good the last time I checked!

well all girls are different so it depends on your taste. personally im 5"3' but like tall guys so therefore my boyfriend is 6" 4' . But if your good looking and a nice guy then it shouldnt matter and wont hold you back. two of my girlfriends are going out with guys who are the same size as them so some girls dont mind short guys.
I would say about 50% of all girls like tall guys. The other 50% prefer short guys. So like very other guy on the face of the planet, you have 50% chance of getting a girl :)
Not all women like tall men. I am almost 17 years old at about 5'8" while my almost 18 year old boyfriend is only about 5'6". So sometimes there are taller women who date shorter men. I love my boyfriend and even though I am the taller one, it still works. We both laugh and joke around about it but neither one of us have a problem with it at all.
If there r tall girls only in ur neighbourhood, u have a problem.
Most girls care more about your personality and how you treat them than about your height. I've known several short guys who were real chick magnets because they were smart, had a great sense of humor, and treated girls with respect. A girl should like you because of what kind of person you are, not because of how tall you are.
