46 years old and low sex drive.?

Question:
I love sex as much as the next guy but most of the time I can't achieve an orgasm and my erection doesn't last long enough. Is this related to high blood pressure or what? I have been single for about eight years and do not date much but I would love a significant relationship with a good woman only I wonder if I could please her in those private moments if you know what I mean. This is not a funny question, I am serious. I understand about erectial dysfunction and all that but if it is something else I could use some advice.

Answers:
The first step is to see a urologist! Many times there is a medical reason for erectile dysfunction and you need to find out the cause before you can treat it sucessfully. Please don't lose valuable time or oodles of money trying all sorts of suggestions or natural products when the answer might be solved with a trip to the doctor.

There are many, many causes for erectile dysfunction, some are:
prescription medications you are taking
hormone disorders
diabetes
vascular disease
neurologic disorders
venous leak
psychological disorders (depression, stress, anxiety, etc.)
alcoholism
drug abuse
multiple sclerosis

In fact, erectile dysfunction can also be the first symptom of an underlying medical condition! Please see a urologist!
Funny that you mention erection not lasting long enough and not being able to climax. Anxiety over these very things can cause ED. I found what caused a similar problem for me was the decongestant in the allergy medicine I was taking. Still don't know why but Claritin D messed me up. I suggest you talk to a doctor and maybe getting a sample of one of the ED drugs on the market. Levitra and Cialis work wonders. I've personally tried Cialis and it will have you strutting like a teenager. I don't use anything anymore but like I said I figured out what was messing me up. Know the difference between anxiety and panic?... Anxiety is the first time you can't get it up the second time, panic is the second time you can't get it up the first time.Good Luck

My hubby has diabetes and high blood pressure and takes meds. That plays havoc on your libido and performance. He's 46.and doesn't read my questions and answers. But, all is not lost. There are meds for that, if you chose. There's oral, if she chooses. Sometimes it's just replacing testosterone. I think men think most women are so darn hung up over hard ons and an hour's worth of non stop sex...not true. We loved to be romanced and touched and loved! Of course there are some women that find that criteria of utmost importance. But there are women out there just looking for a sugar daddy too. I say, let nature just take it's course. Sometimes performance anxiety justs gets in the way.
High blood pressure, diabetes and hormone levels can effect sex drive in men. When was your last physical with the doctor?
as you get older your testosterone levels decreases, so i would suggest you take a testosterone supplement, such as paravol, or enzyte, vitrix, DHEA very important which helps promote testorenone production this will help you get more testosterone in your body and definetly help with sexdrive.. when all fails, viagra
could be due to a physical problem. High blood pressure. Diabetes. Psychological problems. Low testosterone level.
There are medical checks to determine the cause of your problem. My cause is all mentioned and thirty yet to be found.
My allergist does not believe my allergy meds messed me up. But my primary doctor who prescribed hypertension medications for me agreed that high blood pressure meds can affect your sex drive and performance. His recommendation was to exercise and bring the blood pressure down to its normal level. That is my goal in the hopes of also regaining my lost sexual drive. Run, swim, jog, eat the right kind of food. workout, drink lots of water.and sleep well.
