Protein powder help??
Question:
lol thanks alot for your help
Answers:
you are not going to lose muscle if you stop using protein powders. Those muscles are the result of your effort (if such did.) It might just be the case that you will not increase as much as when you had protein powders, but there are still many alternatives to powders, like eating protein rich food. ©
Don't let high priced protein powders fool you. Most of them are pretty much the same so no matter if you buy it from Wal-Mart or GNC your results will be the same. There are 2 basic types of protein powder: soy and whey. I think the whey tends to have less taste and dissolves better in liquids but it makes some people more gassy than the soy. Calculate what your daily intake of protein SHOULD be by multiplying your total weight in kg by 0.8 g. If you lift weights (which you should be doing if you are trying to gain mass multiply your body weight in kg by 1.8g. Too much protein can cause excessive weight gain in the form of fat and can actually cause some damage to your kidneys so dont overdo it too much. Check out www.menshealth.com for some good body mass increasing information.
you should go to see your doctor for this.
I really like Muscle Milk for the protein powder. It tastes better than most and is fairly cheap. Don't buy it a GNC or one of the chain stores, it's like $35 for 2 weeks worth there. You can get it on line at advantagesupplements.com or sportsupplements.com for around $20, or just do a google search for muscle milk. good luck...
iv been using it for awhile it cost like $50-$100
just dont expect it to work right away takes along time(months) to build up into your system and dont lose the meat because the meat is good for other things. you can never have too much protein anyway
