my boyfriend has a small sore on his penis near his hole..its been there for about a week and a half..ive already asked this question and everyone is like its probably herpes or HPV..thats what i was thinkin to..but its like he has no other symptoms..he has one little scab..its not a blister..its not more than one..he has no pain..and from how herpes and HPV is explained in looks..its nothing like either one..so i dont understand..he is going to the STD clinic in a few days..but im just not understanding what else it could be..i had a pap smear but they told me HPV and herpes doesnt show up on those..so im just confused...

You don't get sores/etc. from HPV, so it wouldn't be that, at least.
A dermatologist told me on time that genital herpes on a man will be a lot of red bumps and sores on the penis.
I doubt if he has herpes or even the HPV. He may have the scab from having sex too hard.
