No, it would have gotten darker and thicker anyway. Shaving did nothing to affect that.

It's your imagination. One time shaving doesn't effect hair like that or people would shave their heads to get dark, thick and luscious hair.

it's normal,you shouldn't have done it.Just don't do it again and you'll get that light look back.Waxing it is a good idea,too but it hurts a lot if you do it first time XD

Hadn't anyone told you when you shave it grows back twice as thick and darker? you could bleach the color.

its just the way guys hair grows back. i did the same thing and i let it all grow back and then tried it again to see if it changed anything and it just stays the same so now i just trim my legs with the clippers insted of just shavin it all off

It's not really thicker. If you haven't shaved before, you just cut off the lighter colored downy tips, leaving the darker, thicker shaft below. You can't get back what you had, something like a girl popping her cherry.
Stop shaving! Get yourself a hair clipper from Wal-Mart. (Sunbeam $8.00). It comes with different guards that allow you to cut hair at different lengths. After the hair grows out for a while use the clipper to reduce the length but not eliminate it. This may take some effort and some practice but it will give you a more natural look and it will lesson the thick look of the hair on your legs.
Leg hair can be easily lightened by using lemon juice on the hair and then go out in the sun. This too will make your leg hair appear less thick. The lemon juice will only slightly lighten the hair, again for a more natural look.
