So i got this cut on my calf about 5-6 days ago, I immediatley cleaned it with alchol and put a bandiad on it. Then throughout this time period, i used neosporian and peroxide. For a few days now, I've been noticing and irritaion of the skin aroung the wound and the wound is slowly heaqling and so is the nfection but the infection pusses yellow pus liguid, by calf kind of hurts; its sore. But I also used a perscription cream that's a steriod and is for rashes and not cuts, so i made a mistake! So is the infection form the cream or the fact that maybe i had unclean hands when i first cleaned the wound. I mean its healing somewhat but it itches badly, i dont itch it but it still hurts and i want to know if i should consult with a doctor. If it dosent improve i might. Am i ok?!

dont use the rash cream. leave the damn thing alone. itching is normal..you really should see a dr.
