Does underage drinking stunt growth of any kind?
Question:
its just a question.
so does anyone know anything about this subject?
Answers:
No it doesn't, not if you don't drink excessive amounts. But if you are going to underrage drink be prepared for consequences if you get caught. You should also be responsible. Drinking may not have immediate noticeable effects on your body bet I assure you it can take it's toll.
Make sure you drink slow, and learn your limit. Do not take any drugs (tylenol or anything) while your drinking either. Remember to drink water too. Alcohol will dehydrate your body (this is what causes a hang over).
And use your common sense and don't do anything stupid!
I'm not going to lie and say I never drank underrage, but you need to be careful about it and be sensible. Take it slow, and realize that it can harm your body if you drink too much, too often.
Harmful effects of alcohol can be...
Liver Damage
CNS (central nervous system damage: memory loss, blackouts etc. when you black out it's your body cutting oxygen off from your brain, the result is 10's of thousands of brain cells die... not good!)
Blood (it can clump up and break smaller vessels in the brain, eyes, face, stomach etc. resulting in dead tissue and hemmorhages in some cases can cause death)
Stomach Ulcers
Hypoglycemia
Diabetes
It can effect your heart and make it sluggish
it also can deterioate your muscles
The endocrine system (lowers hormones, so you may not be able to get an erection, also can shrink sex glands and increase estrogen resulting in male breasts and loss of hair)
There are a few other things that can be caused from alcohol. The key thing to remember is it's perfectly fine to have a few drinks every now and again but not to over due things.
It's understandable if you do binge drink too a few times, though I would not do it often as it can take a serious toll on your body if you do.
Anyways be safe.
wellz,i kno lotz of ma friends who r underage nd drink nd dey r still growin teller den me nd im only 5'7 as a 14 yr old..so the answer would probably b no
Yes. Excessive drinking prevents the formation of the sex steroids that are required for growth and maturation. There are reasons for laws to be passed about drinking age. This happens to be one of them.
No, it just stunts the brain.
No underage drinking dont stunt your growth, but it can cause liver problems in later life.
