I was having to shave daily by the time I was 13. You are not too young to shave if you have dark hair growth, shave when you feel like doing it. No law prohibiting it!
There is absolutely no truth to the myth that if you shave off fuzz it will grow in darker, or cutting any hair will make it thicker. Hair is dead tissue, cutting it does not make it grow. And the whiskers will start to grow when your hormones decide they should be growing. Check your shorts. If you are sprouting some good hair down below, it starts to grow above soon after!
I don't think you are too young to learn how to shave but I do think you are too young to be shaving. If that makes any sense. I personally didn't shave for the first time till my senior prom when I was 17, but but many guys were shaving a few years before then. Let it grow in a bit more so you can get used to the feel of it before you start hacking it off.
If it is only peach fuzz then leave it alone for a year or two. Peach fuzz for young men is normal.
You can shave if you want to, but I suggest you don't. Most guys your age don't, and once you start, it'll grow back faster and faster every time. You'll start shaving once every few days, but you'll end up shaving once every day, which is a real drag. The first few days you shave are the fun ones, the ones that you look forward to. But after a week or so, shaving is the last thing you want to do. Right now, I'm glad I'm on summer vacation, that way I don't have to shave every single day. I think you should wait until it's a lot more noticeable, then you can start shaving. I started shaving when I was 15. My younger brother's the same age as you, and since we're Mexican, he's probably hairier than you are, lol. He hasn't considered shaving just yet. i know how you feel, i felt the same way. concider youself lucky to shave at that age, when you get to highschool, people will be worried why they arent shaving yet
