Latex usually has a very strong smell, so if it doesn't smell like it, it is most likely lambskin or polyurethane
if it doesn't smell like latex, it's probably something else

Other than what they're made of they're pretty much like any other kind as far as shape. You need to make sure you know what kind you're using becase lambskin is not effective at preventing HIV transmission. All the info you need should be on the package as far as lubricated or reservior tip.
Lamb skin condoms do not have the reservoir tip and unroll or slip over your penis. The do not stretch like latex condoms, and for me have a unusual smell, they are made out of a lambs intestine.
They smell different. They are also thinner than latex condoms and you should feel more sensation when wearing one during sex.
