What are some good excersice for me to get abs and chest muscle?

Question:
Hi,
I have a belly, not too big but I am not fit. I would like to get some abs for the beginning of the school year. I also would like a chest muscle.

What are some good excersice that would help me improve my abs and chest muscle? How much and how often should I do it? Please explain clearly on what to do for the instruction.

Answers:
chest excercises:bench press, dumbell press, incline barbell press pushups
Abs:crunch, reverse crunch, leg raise

Do 3sets of each 8-12 reps 1-2x per week

do cardio(treadmill,bike,elliptic... 30 min 2-3x a week to cut the fat
whats up man. If your gonna want to lose the gut it doesnt matter how many crunches or ab machine you do if you dont have a healthy diet. You can build muscle no doubt but without cutting out fried foods, candy, soda, and potatoe chips expect to not see any abs what soever. When you eat that your abs get stronger but the fat covers it so theirs no definition. go to musclefitness.com or mens fitness.com to find some good abs excercise remember theirs no such things as a bad abs excercise. as far as chest, instead of normal bench press do incline bench, pull ups and push ups!
u totally have to email me when u get the best answer i NEED 2 KNOW!
idk about chest, but if u do sit ups every night and just eat a little protein a day u will start to get abs. You dont have to start out doing alot, just do 20 then gradually work up. Dont stop at a number tho progressicely do more each night that way you tear the muscle and it rebuilds over night.
