As long as Michael Jackson isn't standing next to you , you have no need to be concerned..
If you're not going to use urinals that's fine but there will be times such as at concerts and sporting events when waiting for a stall just becomes impractical and using a urinal is the fastest and easiest thing to do.
If you prefer a stall, by all means use one. Perhaps try using the urinal when there isn't anyone else in the bathroom, then you might get more comfortable with using it.
thats normal, its not really insecurety, maybe you just think something else
to get over it you just stop caring just go in and do it, who cares if theres someone in there or something like that, just do it.
It's normal. I have that same problem when there isn't any blockades/dividers. If there isn't, I use a stall. So, yeah, there is nothing wrong with you. Just nervousness.
ya theres nothing wrong with that. i see people all the time who use the stall when they have to pee. i personally think urenals aren't private enough. i mean you can hear the person next to you peeing and its kinda gross.
I would try to use them when there arent that many people in the room and try not to use one directly next to someone else. that way you will hve much more privacy
Well, I hate to break it to you, but avoiding uranuls isn't the most common thing. I mean, yeah, in school some guys will act really embarrased and crunch their whole body up to the uranul, but nobody really goes as far as avoiding them. My advice to you is to just look straight at the wall and just do your thing and if other guys are looking at you...well, that's their own gay problem. Good luck.
it is normal, me also don't use urinals, its not about the insecurities (because I have a good size down there) but its the elegance and privacy that we are talking here, but if I don't have choice, I sometimes use the urinals or if there is no other man on the washroom except me. and if you want to get over your insecurities, don't use the urinals, and why you have to be insecure? we all have that thing, it only depends on the sizes and on how proud are we when using the urinals or the cubicles, OK? good luck
Most guys are there to just pee. We all have the same parts and we don't care what yours looks like.
There's nothing wrong with it. If you think some guy is looking give him a reason to look. Get half a chub before you go.
yes its normal.i get stage fright with someone standing next to me sometimes.and im built.so its not insecurity in my case.i thinks its like is this queer looking at me or something
I'm with you. Don't worry about it. I never use a urinal if I can avoid it especially when there isn't a divider. Whose bright idea was it for guys to have to pee into a wall anyway?? And those place that have one big trough?!!?!? Bleck! And they splatter all over back at you. Gross! I had friends that used to make fun of me over it, but I just tell them I think it's disgusting and degrading and if they don't like it then they can use the urinal, but I am totally with you on that.
You're "pee shy" or have "bashful bladder". There are plenty of others with the same situation.. . it's an anxiety condition with a medical term - paruresis.
I've attached a website for you to explore. Most "treatments" cost money - so I just use the stall. It's free.
I thought I was alone. I cannot use a urinal. I dunno why, but I get total stage fright. And I'm not ashamed of my junk or the guy checking it out. It's good sized. I think it stems from something in my childhood.
It is somewhat normal-- in that there are a lot of guys that are "shy" at urinating next to other guys, but I'd say on the whole most guys are not shy. Most guys that are shy usually get over it in adulthood, if you travel a lot, you nearly have to--at airports for example, you are really crowded up and the place is busy, and it is hard to get a stall.
I recommend you try and use them every time you see the restroom empty, and get used to using one. Make yourself go when there are stall dividers, no one will see your little wee wee, every guy has the same equipment anyway. You might also try and close your eyes and count, with the goal of releasing your stream by a certain number, like 20, and focus on that and not who is nearby or coming and going. Does help, I was very shy for many years, and no longer have any problem at all.
Yeah it is normal.
It is totally normal to dislike urinals. I hate them and I find them to be a strange invention. To me they make sense in places that are really crowded - like prison. But why do we use them in our civilized wealthy society? I always use the stall - it's more private and dignified. I also don't like strange people talking to me, and it seems like weirdos always want to chat at urinals. It is not unmanly to hate urinals.
To get used to using them if you have to - which is rare most of the time, just practice when the restroom is empty.
