Working out?

Question:
I stopped working out for 3-4 weeks and just got back into it. The day i worked out, i was lifting the exact same amout as I did before I stoped. now my muscles are really fatigued.

Last night I did lower weights higher reps to get my muscles back in shape. Its been 2 days since I've done heavy lifting... but im still feeling a little sore... should I go to the gym later and lift what I was 2 days ago even though im a little sore?

Or

Should I take it easy going down like 5-10 pounds and doing more reps?

Answers:
when your muscles feel sore, i think you should have stopped it to rest for one or two days, because it is not good for you and if you still keep doing it, it will continuiously hurt your muscles...
The second one
your muscles are just getting shocked basically, keep doing what your doing to get them back to where they were

Your muscle kinda have their own brain and shocking your muscles like that actually helps gain more mass and its a better overall workout so nothing is wrong and keep doing what your capable of doing and id recommend going down 5 pounds for 2 days and increase reps and then try doing more pounds at the same rep hope this helps!
