The bottom of the head tends to be bent down when erect and there is a tight feeling there when you try to pull the foreskin back. It is easily confused with having a tight foreskin opening though. You can try stretching both but it is easier to stretch the opening. If the frenulum won't stretch it can be fixed with a frenuloplasty, a small operation that doesn't remove any tissue but lengthens the frenulum with a Z-shaped cut. Healing is a week or two as opposed to months to get full healing from a circumcision. Circumcision proponents usually say it takes a few weeks to heal from that surgery but the average seems to be about six weeks before any sexual activity and then months until all the swelling goes down and the other problems like sensitivity diminish.
