Stomach Virus?

Question:
i havn't really been able to eat a full meal in about a month, i'll eat a little here and a little there (like ice cream, a little bit of soup, like an egg) .. first i was sick with a stomach virus and i couldn't eat at all, then i went upstate quad riding and i was fine.. eating whenever i was hungry.. now i'm hungry but i have no appetite.. i think lot of stress could have brought this on but i'm not sure, now every time i eat i think way too much about it cause i havn't been able to eat a meal in so long.. like i think about chewing it and swallowing my food then i just don't wanna eat it anymore and i feel like throwing up.. yeah its kinda weird.. i went to the doctor and she thought it might have been gas reflux or something.. but im not sure, i think its just a lot of stress on my mind.. but yeah, if you have any suggestions let me know.. thanks.

Answers:
I'd say you need a second opinion from another doctor. This is seriously not normal. Either you have a physical problem or a psychological problem that is keeping you from eating normally. In either case, you need to get help. Stomach viruses go away after a day to a week or a bit more -- they don't last a month!

Insist on a complete medical workup and if you think it's stress, a psychological evaluation session as well. Not eating is not healthy!
i would really get some help quick, it sounds like you may have something serious like cronic fatugie or fibermialgia
