A really weird question about my roommate's girlfriend...?
Question:
Doesn't it bother my roomie? His breath doesn't stink, whereas if you're just riding in a car with her and the windows are closed, you can smell her breath. Not being funny.
Several people, including roomie's Mother, have askd me about her breath and suggested I say something to my roommate. What do you think?
Answers:
She probably does not know she has bad breath. One way to inform her without hurting her feelings is to offer her gum or a breath mint but only while you are chewing gum or are utilizing a breath mint so that she doesn't suspect its just her. If that doesn't work strike up a conversation about how you can't stand it when people have bad breath. This usually works because girls are usually self conscious about stuff like, that I would know, I'm a girl.
ask her if she wants gum and insist that she takes one.
His girlfriend clearly has bad hygene. He should dump her.
You should like buy some listerine on her birthday or christmas or something.thats kinda FOUL right there
There's someone at my work like that. Occasionally, someone will come to my house with really bad smelling feet. The only think you can do is be blunt about it. (I mention that they have smelly feet and they explain they just came from work and so i get them a new pair of socks.) Maybe offer him a beer and tell him, "Dude, i really dont mean to be rude but, your girlfriend's breath is rank." and if he freaks out about it, its up to you to tell her. Its all about the delivery i guess... dont be a ***** though, that's worse than having the bad breath.
Maybe when you're telling him or her you could start with admitting you had bad breath and you just got rid of it with *insert product name here*.
it may be bad bucal higien or stomac problems. you'll make her a favor if you tell her in a soft way because for sure she does not feel that. good look
didnt u ask a question before about ur father being obsessed with ur mother?
it might be a mouth or stomach problem. i say have your roomies mom speak to her
I had a friend who had breath that smelled like a baby's diaper full of ****. I used to make fun of him behind his back about it. He caught wind of it and I was surprised to find out that he had a medical problem and was perfectly aware of his bad breath.
She may already know about her problem.
Now, as for your roommate, he very well may be classically conditioned to consider that smell you call horrid into something sexy. If they have been going out for a lengthy time, then I can guarantee that is the case.
There is no hope for you to make him see the light on this one. He likes the smell. He has associated it with "good times."
I don't think I'd say anything to your roommate, but I would try and have a genuine one-on-one conversation with his girlfriend about it. If she gets defensive or angry at you, you can remind her that it's a private conversation to improve her life. Make sure to use the line, "if I had this problem, I would hope that someone would care enough to confront me about it." ...or something similar.
Or, hell, leave bowls of mints around the place and drive with your window down! I sure hope this helps.
Does she drink, have bad teeth or have hepatitus?
Chronic halitosis can be a sign of a liver problem.
i have a sweet cousin who had a mouth full of bad teeth for years. her husband couldn't even kiss her because of it. teeth brushing didn't improve it much, or for very long either. they were both so very happy when they had the money to get them fixed.
wow. awk-ward. i have no idea what i would do in that situation. i think i would breathe out of my mouth whenever she's around and try to avoid speaking it her.
either that, or tell her to put a stick of gum between each tooth.
mints are good, or tell him to give her a tooth brush next holiday.
She needs a dentist. Prolly some impacted tooth there somewhere. It's an infection. Is hse can't pay for a dentis.. then she can't do much about it. Why don't you pay for her to have it seen to.. get your mum to pay, big shot?
