Everyday is OK. Your muscles are rebuilding even on days you don't work out. Go ahead and drink PROTEIN DRINKS every day.
LOL I swear to god I was about to ask the exact same question. I can't wait to read the answers.
I drink Bolt house Mocha Protein, Mainly after a hard day. It is natural and healthy for you.
Be careful how protein you take if you decide to drink a commercial type.
Some blood types don't like too much protein.

Oh yeah, Bolt house can be found at Wal-Mart in the Veggie section. It is real natural and has to be kept refrigerated.
Protein intake as a whole shud not exceed 1gm per kg weight. It is immaterial when u take.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
