Hi, this is pooja. For dancing, you need lots of stamina, confidence and ditermination.
If you are a dancer then try to focus on the stamina of your body. B'coz I think when you dance, and if you are confident enough to be the best then you automatically can dance well and keep up the pace of your dance.
Try to do some of the bharatnatyam steps like for one hour. This will enhance your stamina and increase you pateince power. Don't try to dance on different songs at a time. This will make you tired physically and mentally. Try a good hip-hop song which has a lot of bass-beats in it. If you try to expand your dance time then try to take fusion songs but each shold be of a short span. Practise everyday and you will see that you can dance without any muscular stretch or sprain.
Your muscular strength is in your stamina and your confidence. Coming on the dietary part, then eat healthy, lots of fruits and green vegetables. This will give a large amount of fibres which is actually needed. See to it that your muscles don't stretch and you dance at your maximum potential.
To increase your muscular strength use dumbles and do push ups as you feel confortable. Make a video record of your dance and see it every day, this will boost you up and you will come up with more strength and confidence.

well muscles are made up of protein so when we dance we break our tissues which need protein to heel up . try and do yoga every morning it will give u strenght also and flexibility also

Get a muscle evaluation done and then train the muscle to the requirements.
do run for 15 minutes daily, then stretch exercise, then 15 situps. and don.t forget to massage your body everytimg. apply where it needs the most. abdoman exercise is more useful to have a good one for dance.
