Blood instead of feaces. HELP!!?
Question:
Now as i had a gas like tummy i went to the toilet & i did not pass any feces but pure red blood.
Please help sooon & give me an idea of whats happening as i am freaked....

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND/OR SEE A GATROINTEROLOGIST IMMEDIATELY!!
If it's red blood then you know it's from your lower GI tract, as opposed to say your small intestine (the blood would be black if that were the case). You want to have that checked out for a possible cancer or an inflammatory bowel disease. It will not be due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
and don't be nervous about a possible colonoscopy- the prep the day before is annoying because of the laxative but the procedure itself is no biggy. If it's a chronic disorder of inflammation they may keep you for a couple days on a clear-liquid diet to calm things down and give you anti-inflammatory medication. This is all just a guess-
it could all be from the painkiller medication, if that's so then they'll take you off of it.
GO TO THE DOCTOR! THATS HORRIBLE! SEEK MEDICAL HELP ASAP!
i would talk to your doctor about continuing the painkillers or trying something else

actually the most common cause of red blood from your rectum is hemmoroids,the blood you're worried about should be black or tarry,internal hemmoroids can bleed with no previous signs of problems
