What is your opinion about tanning beds?

Question:
i personally think they are very bad for your health

Answers:
they're not good, u can get skin cancer from them.

Other Answers:
tanning too much is definately bad for your skin and can cause skin cancer

They cause cancer. Great money maker for dermatologists. However, I, like millions of others, am screwed, as I am addicted to tanning beds. Yikes!

i think there great always got one in my house all round tan you can get cancer from the sun so unless your going to stay in for the rest of your life i don't see the problem

you could get skin cancer from them, but if you have like no time to tan and you have an important event coming up really reallly soon, i bet it would be ok to just go tanning once or twice.

A tanned dermatologist is a rare sight!

Nowadays, who would do that? There are a lot of good self tanners out there that do a much better job than tanning beds. Have you tried Clarins? You will be amazed of their self tanning products.

it was invented for models to get tan quickly ,so for actors and stars those have no time to go for natural sun for a tan .avoid it since there are a lot of arguments about it .

Just laying on the beach or anywhere with enough sun is good enough and safer but don't forget the lotion!

They are bad for the health of your skin! That's why you see all these women in their 40s and 50s that have leathery skin.watch the Real Housewives of Orange County to see what I mean! If these girls would look at some of these older women with nasty looking skin - maybe they will skip out on tanning - go buy some good lotion instead - like the new Glow moisturizers by Jergens!

if your skin was meant to be darker than it is, you would have been born like that!

They are ok once in awhile, but not for excessive use.

I have used them, and love them. However, they do bake you from the insides out! If you love the idea of being tan, and have at least a half hour a day to devote to it, go for it, drink plenty of water.
