what is the best way to get rid of oily skin?

Question:

Answers:
Different products work for different people. Benzoyl peroxide is the obvious one to try. Salicylic acid is another. There is another product that few people seem to be aware of. It's no longer generally available in drugstores, but is available from drugstore.com and other online drugstores, called Acnomel. It's a sulfur and resorcinol product that has been a lifesaver for me. If you have serious cystic acne, then you should investigate Accutane. I would have killed myself without it, but it has some risks and may not be available much longer.

Other Answers:
For me, when my skin was oily I would wash my face three times a day to prevent too much oil back up in my pours. Use hot water when you wash your face with anti-bacterial soap (dial or soft-soap). Dry off face. Then splash cold water on your face and re-dry. The cold will re-close your pours. Do this as much or as little as you need.

i use Proactive
