I have a Rolex woman's watch, is it genuine?

Question:
Looking at the face of it the markings are,,,,, at the top a 5 pointed??crown?? right under that is ROLEX, right under that is GENEVE, then of course down above the 6 is Quartz. On the back it has the 5 pointed ??crown??,,under that,ROLEX,under that ARGENT, under that, GENUINE STEEL, under that 6431-4710. The band is not one you could replace, and on the bands' snap-like closure is stamped Hong Kong. Is this a fake or what?? It's driving me "batty"

Answers:
Best way to tell if it is real or not is by the movement of the second hand. Real Rolex second hand sweeps continuously (no stopping); if the second hand moves a little each second (go-stop-go-stop.)- it is fake.

Other Answers:
Rolex. Hong Kong? Rolex is Swiss. You can buy these by the lorry load in the Ladies' Market in HK any day of the week. Sorry.

did your friend go to Thailand? they are £10 there

Try to submerge it in water and see if there is any water leaking into the face. Genuine ones are water resistant, also the Hong Kong thing sounds odd.

just visit the sit Rolex.com try a google search and find the watch that you have.
all rloex watches are available on the site,
better check it out first before you wear it all over the place

Unfortunately there are a lot of fake Rolex watches out there. You should wear it whether it is a fake or not.

The Hong Kong is kinda hinting to you having a fake. One good way of telling other than the physical apperance is if you put your ear up to the face and listen. If you hear ticking it is a fake, Rolex are swiss pecision watches and should not make a sound. If you didn't pay full price you probably got a fake.

" Anything too good to be true probably is"
