How do you get rid of nightmares about your childhood?
Why are men smarter than women? It doesnt seem fair? Help!?
Answers:
Try establishing a good nightime routine. Give yourself enough time to "unwind"- maybe take a bath or do some yoga/meditating before bed.
If the nightmares persist or are affecting your sleep/life- consult a doctor.
I really don't have much advice, but I wanted to reply. I have recurrent nightmares about my childhood too. They seem to come in cycles and are often triggered by certain events or people. So, I try to avoid the triggers, relax, allow myself to think about these things during the day (hoping to resolve it before it moves into a dream/nightmare), talk about them with family and a therapist, and I eat well. I've read many things about how what you eat can affect your dreams/nightmares- spicy, sugary, processed, and "heavy" foods can cause nightmares.
