Actually, no. Multiple personalities is Dissociative Identity Disorder. Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder. They hallucinate (just one of the symptoms), but don't have many personalities. Common mistake.

Depression causes you to "become" someone else, the sadness and other negative feelings make you seem like another person.
I was never that different when I had depression, but I was not as I am now, nor was before. Depression definately changes you.
