born with fair skin?

Question:

hi i was born with pretty fair skin, but now, over the years it is medium dark. i know people say to put lemon and something like a cucumber on ur face regularly to get my light skin back, but how long does it take to get all they way back to near-white skin color? do u need to keep doing the lemon and cucumber thing even after its back to fair, or will it stay fair(not including sun factor)? thanks!

and hey guys, i got summore questions! will putting just cucumber but more frequently, have a faster effect, cutting the wait time for fairer skin, because im tired of having to wash it off every 15 mins? which brings me to yet another question. do these "natural" things like lemon and cucumber work only when they are wet, or if its been on for a while, will it still detannize even if its dry, like if u keep cucumber on overnight?

and is it the more times a day u do the cucumber bleaching, the less time to wait till ur fair? thanks a lot!!
