How can I get rid of a crook in my neck?

I am 5.2" and weight 128 pounds. is that a good weight for my height?

If it's excess lordosis, usually a compensation by the body for bad postural alignment arising from the hip area, you should get it checked by a practitioner.
To help correct this, stretch any short muscles around the hips. (eg: hamstrings, quads, hip flexors, Quadratus Lumborum [side flexion] and left/right rotation).
The "crook" can be stretched by taking your chin to the chest and lightly placing your fingertip on the topmost part of the head. Breathe and relax, hold for 30secs, take hands away from the head and lift your chin back by using your hands, not the muscles in the neck that you have just stretched.

Go to a chiropractor. I've been going to one for 6 yrs. It absolutely feels better. It may hurt some people a little at first, but i was use to popping my own neck and back myself. It's just that they know what they are doing and i didn't. I wouldn't know what to do without my Dr. of chiropractic. I hope this helps you.

A "crook" in the neck really is just an atrophied muscle, the fibers have basically locked together. Depending on your body size, take at least a couple Ibuprophens to help the inflation in the muscle relax (if you are a large person, 3 or 4 will do) and then massage and heat therapy. Technically, it's just a cramp and typically will go away in time. The only thing you can do is help speed up that process.

Have someone grasp the "meat" on the back of your neck firmly in his/her hand and hold it for about 1 minute.kind of like what you have seen when someone picks up a kitten by the neck. Then have this person grasp the muscles on the top of each shoulder between your neck and where the arms connect (the trapezius). They should again maintain this hold for about a minute. These techniques are acupressure holds and quite effective for neck tension/spasms.
