orange juice and lots of fruit. stay away fron dairy. don't listen to Ghost Particle, he says eat lots of com. that can't be good.

Had a number of surgeries last year, the pain medicine stopped me up. Drink a lot of water, take a stool softener every day, try to walk each day, use an enema if need be.Some people think it's humorous, but when you're going through it, it's anything but funny.

I drink fruit choice - apple juice works just as well as prune juice and tastes better. At least for me. If its really bad, there are some great gentle laxatives out there that do the trick as well. I like Correctol which takes about six to eight hours to work and if taken in the evening before bed, you will be regular by morning. SOme of those laxatives are so harsh and unpredictable. Who wants the Exlax to kick in while you are sitting in traffic on the way to work! Augh! Or work so well you can't stop going and now you have to figure out a way not to go!
