Why do women in India tonsure their heads at Tirupati-Balaji and go bald completely?

its for a religious sacrfice thats why they shave their head they are deeply religious you havent noticed that by the religious wars that go on throughout the middle east its odd to us because they take their religon so dear to heart and they are extreme while here half of the people dont even go to church
