How do I get my EXTREMELY straight, fine hair to curl?

Question: I really really want it to curl (without a perm or anything expensive)

this is what i do: after my shower, i wait till my hair is mostly dry but not completely, then i grab all my hair, like i'm going to put it in a ponytail, twist it like i'm going to put it in a bun, then put a big jaw clip around it. i usually leave it in most of the day, when i take it out i have really nice wavey soft hair.

i know you were looking to go curly, but aside from using a curling iron, this works nicely,
and no chemicals

first you can try to comb it out first, then you get a straighten comb then you design and curl it in the design you want it.
