Why do women take sooooo long to get ready?

They aren't just getting ready for you. They're also getting ready for all the other women out there: 1)they know other women will be judging their clothes, looks, etc., and 2) it's their way of saying "Back off, he's mine!"
Besides, do you want her to look like crap? A woman who feels good about herself will be much more fun to be out with than one who doesn't.

I don't. Pants, shirt, socks, shoes, brush the hair or put it up and I'm good to go. no makeup necessary.

Not all women take soooo long to get ready.. just the pretty ones who have men they love and want to look beautiful for!
they like to look good.
Practice makes perfect, it'll take less and less time once they know what they want to look like and get it down to a fine art.
My opinion? If she doesn't look good, she doesn't feel good, meaning whatever she didn't do that she thought she should have, will be the only thing on her mind, now what would you like her to be thinking when she's with you.."Oh God, I have a wrinkle across the bottom of my pants", or " I look great, and I feel great being in anyones eyes with my man"
