Did anyone else have less than perfect vision after Lasik?

Question: After 6 months I had a slight astigmatism on my left eye. I'm not going to do the surgery again, it's just not worth it to me to risk the infection. And since my vision was so incredibly bad before the surgery, I'm happy now not having to wear glasses anymore.

yes! my sister had lasik and has had all kinds of eye problems since then, going back for several follow up visits and now they say, oops, you might go blind in that eye but that's a risk if you look at the small print. there was also a radio announcer in our area that had lasik and ended up having continual problems. on the other hand, 3 other siblings had lasik without a problem. there are alternatives if you have a stigmatism, but it's more complicated and the buy one get one free docs don't do it
