I need help with my permed hair?

I permed my hair on Monday and I want to wash it on Wednesday. Will it really take the perm out. Mostly I want to wash it because the smell is making me sick.

Yeah, you should wait 72 hours before washing it.You can spray it down with water, just don't douse it. What you could do is wrap your head in a bandana so not to smell it. It will only be a little longer.

You really want to wait a good 48 hours before washing your hair after you'd had a perm. I've been there before. If you wash it with shampoo right away you risk washing out the chemicals that were put in your hair from the perm. You need to wait a couple of days. If the smell is that bad, it is ok to just rinse off your hair with water, but don't put any shampoo in it.
